About the Artist

A native New Englander, Scott White seeks to inspire an emotional response of contented pleasure through his art. His passion for capturing his surroundings is primarily expressed in oils. Scott’s successful career in various types of printing has contributed to his ability to see colors at their most finite level. He chooses to push lighter hues past reality to create more liveliness in his art. Scott has studied several methods of landscape artistry to reach his current level of expertise. In particular, he is a long time student of Canadian Master painter Johannes Vloothuis. The Seacoast of Maine and all it’s treasures are Scott’s primary subjects to share with his patrons.
